Think Ink! 18/01/16

Throughout the years many people have estimated and questioned the death of print through books and online sources. Was the death of print due to digital culture like Tvs, ebooks, and the internet or has the revival of platforms such as independent magazines, zines and publishing fairs brought it back to life. Living in an era where technology is universal and everywhere you can definitely notice the changes happening.

Revival of print

The revival of print exists from independent magazines such as Pitchfork, The Intern and gentlewomen. These magazines are permanent and substantial aimed at the niche market not for the mass market. New ways of printing means that the quality of printing is at a higher level with more longer and analytical writing included. Magcutlure and magma are shops in London that sell these types of magazines. Others include resurgence of interest in political print of 60/70s, radical print, newspaper clubs.
